Lisa, Thank you so much for coming to the CT Occ Med Meeting. I thought you looked great and was pleased you were there, even though you weren't feeling up to it. I was so glad to be able to see you, I understand many of us won't be able to be part of your close family life, but be aware that we are on the outside looking in and have the upmost respect for you. I agree with your philosophy of life and am in awe of your inner strength and your ability to persevere. This will be such a wonderful memory for your children. Life is not fair, but enjoying every minute of it is. Kathy Johnson
I was diagnosed with stage IV (metastatic) non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) on March 10, 2008. My family and friends have been and continue to be an awesome fan club - providing support, help and blessed comic relief as I fight the dragon. It seems that, through their many connections, there are lots of people who would like to know how things go with me - hence the loss of my blog virginity. Before I even start, though, thank you to each and every one of you for the positive thoughts, prayers, spells, incantations and any other positive energy you send my way. I welcome them greedily.
